Clinical Facility
In order to provide quality supervised clinical experience to students, attachment has been obtained from various Government and reputed hospitals as follows:
- Ayursundra Speciality Hospital
- Guwahati Medical College & Hospital
- Global Hospital, Guwahati.
- MMCH Hospital (An Annex Hospital of GMCH), Guwahati.
- Marwari Multi Speciality Hospital, Guwahati.
- Marwari Maternity Hospital, Guwahati.
The students will be accompanied by the teachers while getting clinical experiences at these hospitals. They get skilled practices by giving care to patients in all clinical areas of the hospital under the constant supervision of their teachers.
Community Health Training
For relevant community health nursing experience students will be trained at the Community Health Centre located at Guwahati. For getting rural and urban community health nursing experience, students are posted in the nearby Health Centres as approved by the Joint Director of Health Services, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Guwahati.
Psychiatric Posting
As per INC syllabus to complete the required hours of clinical psychiatric posting, students will be posted at reputed psychiatric Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centre at Assam to impart the student’s knowledge and improve skills to handle and make comfortable the patient/client with mentally challenge.
